Tour itinerary Day by day

Day 1

Welcome to Tanzania! Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) you will meet with your Representative and drive to Arusha for an overnight stay. The drive is approximately 1 hour. Arusha is considered the safari capital of East Africa. Depending on the time you arrive, we may be able to have an Arusha town tour on the way to our lodging.

Day 2 Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After a beautiful breakfast at the hotel, you will begin your adventure by road for Tarangire National Park. This is a breathtaking drive through the Maasai Steppe, enjoying the African savannah and rolling hills scenery, the drive to the park is about 2.5 hours, we will enjoy a game drive and picnic lunch in Tarangire National Park. This Park is the home of more than 3,000 elephants and is famous for the Baobab Trees (also nicknamed “the trees of life”). From there we will continue to the Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3 Manyara National Park

We will have another full day to enjoy game drives in Manyara National Park, picnic lunch will be served in Park. At the end of the day, we will have dinner and our overnight stay at the Lodge

Day 4   Ngorongoro Crater Tour

After an early breakfast (or a packed breakfast), we will drive to Ngorongoro Crater where you will descend the 600m high walls to the floor of the Crater. This is one the World’s seven natural wonders and is listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. It is one of the most beautiful and unique places in the World. Here you will find a haven of African wildlife that includes not less than 27,000 plains animals that permanently reside in this Caldera. You might also be lucky enough to witness the endangered Black Rhino. We will also enjoy a game drive and lunch on the Crater floor before driving back to the Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5 Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park

After a nourishing breakfast served at the Lodge, we will start our drive to Serengeti National Park enjoying the beautiful scenery and some wildlife along the way. This is going to be the long day full of adventure. During this drive you will have the opportunity to stop to visit a Maasai village. The Maasai are a nomadic pastoral community very well known for their cultural interaction with the land. We also have a chance to visit Olduvai Gorge it is an archaeological site known as the Cradle of Mankind. In this area, archaeologists found evidence of hominids and the use of stone tools dated more than 3.7 million years ago. Before checking into the National Park, a packed lunch will be served. Thereafter we enjoy the beauty and animals of Serengeti on our way to the Lodge

Day 6 Full Day Central Serengeti game drive

This morning we will set out for the early drive, enjoying the abundance and diversity of wildlife of Serengeti National Park. This Park is well known for the most amazing wildlife spectacle on earth – the great migration of wildebeest and zebra. The Serengeti’s vast plains are also home to a haven of other wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, other predators, as well as little critters and many species of birds. After the game drive, we will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. There is an optional Hot Air Balloon ride available during your stay in Serengeti

Day 7 Full Day Western Serengeti Game Drive

This morning we will set out for the early drive, enjoying the abundance and diversity of wildlife of Serengeti National Park. This Park is well known for the most amazing wildlife spectacle on earth – the great migration of wildebeest and zebra. The Serengeti’s vast plains are also home to a haven of other wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, other predators, as well as little critters and many species of birds. After the game drive, we will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. There is an optional Hot Air Balloon ride available during your stay in Serengeti.

Day 8 Serengeti Game drive Great Migration & River Mara Crossing

Early Morning after breakfast you will continue with your game drive in the Northern region. Mara river crossing is one of the must see in Serengeti and totally one of the most spectacular events in Serengeti. Many wildebeests perish trying to reach the mineral rich grass of Maasai Mara where they will spend at list 2 months before they start to migrate again to their ancestral birthing Ground Southern Ndutu where it will all start again. After a full day game drive and hopefully a sight of the crossing we will be back to your accommodation in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 9 Serengeti to Lake Natron

Today we take you for an early morning game drive which can allow you to see some nocturnal animal coming back from along night of hunting, or a group of lioness organizing a morning ambush, then the rest of the game drive will be en route towards the Northern Serengeti. Check out at Klein’s gate & drive to Lake Natron arriving late afternoon and go for evening lake Natron walk for sunset if time permits. You will have early dinner and sleep read for night summit at Odoinyo Lengai Mountain.

Day 10  Lake Natron to Arusha

You will have breakfast at your lodge a head of your drive back to Arusha where your guide will drive you to the airport or your hotel in Arusha and this will bring your 9 Days  Great Migration Tanzania Safari
